We left off with this curious bird from Finding Dory.
It was part of the Port Discovery Land and the ride Nemo & Friends SeaRider. Lots to look at in line.
You go inside and the waiting area is a little story to let you know what's going to happen when you get in the simulator. Apparently we are researchers and we get into a fish like submarine. Then it shrinks so we can swim around with the fishes. Very fun. Although when you are used to the voices of Ellen as Dory and the rest of the gangs voices, their Japanese voices just aren't the same. Loved listening to the little kid beside me giggle every time a fish would bump into our submarine and the whole thing would shake.
Had to return to Lost River Delta land to use my Fast pass for Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Crystal Skull.
Every ride I went on I would get off saying to myself, 'If people ask my favourite ride, it was definitely this one...'. But...I think...this may have actually been my favourite ride. Just pure fun.
More people dressed up...
This ride was cute. But made me picture the boardroom table. 'Well John? Any ideas for Port Discovery Land?'.
'Well, we had just one idea. Put people in this boat type thing. Then it takes you around the water area'.
'Hmmmm. Ok....I guess I wanted a little more. Seems pretty basic.'.
'Well, we could let people control it on their own?'.
'Gawd no John!! What are you thinking! That would be chaos!!'.
'OK, well. Maybe we could control it. But like have twists and turns where you least expect it...?'.
Long pause....John holds his breath....
'I LIKE IT!!!'
And onto American Waterfront. With a huge ship. And Tower if Terror...?
Some Halloween decorations
Two people dressed from Enchanted (what was Any Adams name in that movie..)and she kept posing like this. It was strange.
Nope, not employees. Just regular princesses shopping for souvenirs.
The final ride of the day for me. I was tired and really, being by myself for two days...and not talking to anyone except to point at a menu had done me in. So got in line for Toy Mania.
To say it was the longest line I stood in wouldn't do it justice. So here is a picture from when I finally got out. Yup. Full on dark out!!
Pretty area I didn't visit. Needed to get shopping so I could head back. This Mamma was done!
Hmm. Not sure why this photo didn't appear above. But not gonna move it. Basically it was a photo showing you we were ride beside the ocean. And far off are a bunch of ocean liners.
I'm sure the night show was awesome. But it didn't start till 10pm and it was an hour back by myself, at night, in the city on public transit. Tokyo actually feels quite safe. But still...

That must have been a long freaking line! I can't believe you are coming home soon!
ReplyDeleteOh my.... Tharen I loved this blog. Please, please tell me you bought one of the adult costumes! They are hilarious. Seriously, how many Ariel's were in the park? Guessing she is the favourite of all the princesses in Japan? I do love the Japanese Maleficent though. How do you appear to be a bada$$ when you are a cute little Japanese lady? The Indiana Jones ride looked amazing too. I wish I could have gone with you.... Think of all the trouble we would have gotten into? heh heh. Maybe DisneySea will host a Disney Run? Or it gives us more motivation to do a Disneyland Disney Run. " California here we come!"
ReplyDeleteWell... thanks so much for all the great blogs. Not sure what I'm going to do on my tea break when you are back home!
Safe travels back to the land of Maple Syrup & Hockey!!
