There is a Disneyland and a DisneySea. Because Disneyland was mostly the same as Florida, I picked DisneySea. Because I'm only spending one day here. I'm in Japan! Even I know my time is limited and won't be all about Disney!
But I made it. Got in the big long line....and 20 mins in realized I was in the park line. Not the ticket line. Rookie mistake!! I know better!! So fixed that up and back in line.
So it's all done up for Halloween and there is a pamphlet about dressing up to come to the park. I expected kids to be dressed up. And there were some. But I was amazed at the number of older people that were full on costumed up. I did my best to subtly take pictures for your viewing pleasure.
Into the park and first thing I do is find q bakery that sells coffee!!
I get a coffee and a muffin. Isn't that a cute muffin!! It was yummy! I sit and look at the map of the park while I have my breakfast. It is crazy! I feel like all those people I help for Walt Disney World in Florida. It is very overwhelming.
So I decide to just walk. I know Disney always has good people flow, so I put my faith in Disney. I go to the right with the thought that naturally people will go to the left here. Opposite of Canada.
Now, you are probably laughing at me. Of course it was in Japanese! I'm in Japan. But up until that moment, it hadn't totally hit me. I 'knew' it was going to be like that. But it was the first moment I realized it. Do you get me?
Anyway, Disney is amazing and really I'm able to understand for the most part. And I really focus on the visual. So it's fun in a different way.
Next area was Mermaid Lagoon. All Little Mermaid themed. You go into this big cave like area and it's a whole indoor land.
I go into the first line I see.
Oh that's cute! Wait...huh....so they kinda just go up and down gently....fun.... But i wonder if this is like... A kiddie land....
Next up is a concert.
Woah!! This is impressive. Sadly I can't take pictures during the show, but it was awesome. Ariel comes our on wires and truly looks like she is swimming around. There are puppets for Flounder and Sebastian. Triton is a huge Animatronics figure. And of course...it's all in Japanese! Oh my goodness. Hearing Part of Your World and Under the Sea...well, you haven't lived till you hear that.
Other then the amazing show, it definitely is a kiddie area. So I embrace my inner kid and dive in.
Check out this thrill seeker!!!
That's right!! I'm in the front!!!
Phew. Didn't think I'd make it. Look out Ghoster Coaster! You have competition!!
Onto a new land where I see this guy. What the what? He looks like a messed up creation of Mickey and Goofy if we smushed them together...
Onto another show. It was about 25 mins and had live singing and dancing. It was about a girl, part I'd like a Scout troop, who gets lost in the woods and her adventures. Singing was fantastic!! As was the stage and how they made a waterfall and a river. Very cool. Would love to know what they said....
Lunchtime. It was meh. Quesadillas.
More people dressed up.
Ok. Great ride!!! In the end you shoot out of a volcano!!!
Over to Arabian Coast land.
A two tiered carousel ride. And I totally scored! No horse for this gal! I got the last Genie!!!
The next ride was Sinbad. Similar to It's a Small World in that a boat takes you through rooms filled with Animatronic dolls that sing the story of Sinbad. I took a small video for Animatronics to hear it (not as annoying/catchy as the classic Small World song) and also to hear it in Japanese. Get a taste of how my day was. :)
Next up was a ride in Lost River Delta land. And hello! Single rider entrance! Missed the 60 min wait! Whoo hoo!! Awesome coaster. Went upside down.
A way to rest your feet and move around to different lands.
What's up next? Guess you'll have to wait and see!!

Awesome! Definitely on my bucket list!
